The National Poultry Show 2012

The Council of The Poultry Club of Great Britain are pleased to announce that The National Poultry Show sponsored by The Rare Breeds Survival Trust, Fancy Feeds, Emvelo, Allen and Page, The Westpoint Veterinary Group, Fabian Eagle, Everything Poultry and poultrytalk.com (other sponsors pending) will take place on 17th/18th November 2012 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.  Following the success of last year’s show in Halls 1 and 2, we have again secured these two buildings to enable us to expand our poultry entries, provide a dedicated Juvenile section to encourage younger people and provide extra space for trade stands, selling everything from china to chicken feed!  There will also be a poultry sale.

On the Saturday evening there will be a Dinner with an auction and a disco held in The Princethorpe Pavilion. Tickets £23. This will be themed to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Sebright Club. So everyone will be asked to wear a bit of silver and gold – what an excuse for a bit of bling!

We will again be holding talks on all aspects of poultry keeping, from starting out with a few chickens to incubation and basic veterinary care.  These are being moved to a more spacious venue in the gallery above Hall 1, as they proved so popular last year; the room got so crowded that one poor lady fainted in the heat!  The cost of these talks will be £2 per person per talk.  Public entrance to the show is £10 per head per adult per day, £5 for children 4-16, Disadvantaged and OAP.  Free for children under 3.
