British Waterfowl Association welcomes new Secretary
The British Waterfowl Association (BWA) welcomes a new secretary, Nadine Head, who will be taking over from longstanding secretary Sue Schubert. “Nadine Head has worked with charities and not-for-profit organisations for the past 15 years and will bring a wealth of experience to the position” says BWA President Geoff Chase. “We wish her a long and happy association with the BWA.”
Retiring secretary, Sue Schubert, has worked for the association for over 10 years, providing critical and central support to the president, committee and members. First appointed in 2002 under Mike Griffiths presidency, Sue has proved to be an invaluable choice. As well as having been a longstanding and enthusiastic BWA member, Sue’s dedicated service as secretary has seen the association through many changes. She has helped introduce the website: (www.waterfowl.org.uk), bring in online payments and adapted to a swiftly changing computer age, in addition to providing vital support during the Avian Flu crisis and much, much more.
